Madbury is situated in Strafford County, New Hampshire, USA, comprising about 7,600 acres and home to some 1,770 residents. It is bounded by the municipalities of Barrington, Dover, Durham and Lee.

This location has been variously known as Cedar Point, Tickle Point, and Hill's Neck. The Bellamy River is the only water course of any size in Madbury and, until the Bellamy dam was built, Barbadoes Pond was the town's largest body of water.

Local landmarks include the Bellamy Reservoir and Kingman Farm.
